With so much new music coming out each and every day, it can be hard to listen to everything... but we'll be damned if we don't try. Here are our favourite tunes from the week that was from the likes of H31R, J-MILLA, Julia Wallace, Kevin Abstract, Khruangbin, Mia June, RONA., scratching, The Orbweavers and Thy Slaughter!

H31R - Down Down BB (feat. Quelle Chris)

New Jersey producer/composer JWords and Brooklyn rapper/vocalist maassai AKA experimental hip hop duo H31R team up with underground icon Quelle Chris for a fresh cut of stripped back Jersey club influenced sounds. H31R's new album HeadSpace is out November 17 via Big Dada.

J-MILLA - Gammon

Fresh from conquering BIGSOUND and ahead of a summer 2024 tour, J-MILLA drops a new slice of hard hitting yet melodic hip hop.

Julia Wallace - Like I Miss The Rain

Two and a half years on from her stunning debut EP Place In Mind, Boorloo/Perth-based singer-songwriter and multi-intrsutrmnetalist delivers a new single of tender & organic alt-pop sounds.

Kevin Abstract - Running Out

A week out from the release of his new solo album, Brockhampton's Kevin Abstract delivers another single of indie-rock inspired sounds, pairing angular guitars and autotune to great effect. Kevin Abstract’s new album Blanket is out November 3 via RCA Records.

Khruangbin - People Everywhere (Shifting Sands Remix)

Khruangbin announce their new album Live at Sydney Opera House with their own fresh spin on a fan favourite. Live at Sydney Opera House is out December 1 via Dead Oceans.

Mia June - Freckled Friend Forever

Boorloo/Perth singer-songwriter on the rise drops the latest single from her forthcoming debut EP, the stripped back, acoustic guitar and vocal number that is Freckled Friend Forever. Mia June's new EP Don't Forget Your Bags is out November 17 via Father/Daughter Records.

RONA. - Aperleye

Kaytetye producer and DJ returns after last year's breakthrough Closure EP with a new single of atmospheric, UK Garage and house fusing flavours, out now via Rose Avenue Records.

Scracthing - Peter

We got to know this debut single courtesy of the new Boorloo-based project from Grace Sanders & Ezekiel Padmanabham earlier in the week.

The Orbweavers - When it Rains in Broken Hill

Naarm/Melbourne band deliver the woozy, dreamy first single of country-tinged sounds from their forthcoming new album, New Moon / Silver Moon out on Mistletone in 2024.

Thy Slaughter - Sentence

A.G. Cook & EASYFUN reprise their Thy Slaughter project for two new singles, with the upper tempo hyperpop of Sentence our pick of the two. Out now via PC Music (Don't forget that PC Music is wrapping up releasing new music at the end of the year :()
