Jamie Now - Never Fade EP

Jamie Now - Never Fade EP

A damn accomplished slice of future-beat if ever we've heard one.

We first came across Melbourne-via-Perth producer Jamie Now when he flicked us this KILLER REMIX of Golden Features' Tell Me feat. Nicole Millar, and have been eagerly anticipating more original work since, and this week saw the release of his Never Fade EP. Following a quick listen it's fair to say his transition from drum'n'bass and dubstep to future-beats and chilltrap has been a smooth one. It still errs into those kinda territories at times, particularly on Exhale (which more than anything took me back to the old Donkey Kong SNES game for some reason), but the rest remains a masterclass in on-point production and futuristic electronica. You can stream it below, or buy it for next to nothing via BANDCAMP.
