Etsy Pop-Up Markets

Etsy is like Ebay, but specifically for handmade goods and artisan products – and it’s one sweet four-letter word if you’re a small business owner with a product to sell. With over one million active shops and 40 million members, business owners on Etsy generated over $895 million in sales last year.

Etsy’s moving into the real world, rolling out a series of pop up markets across the country that will be selling a broad range of stuff: jewellery, art, fashion, vintage and homewares. The Etsy shop-owners will be turning off their computers and coming out into the sunshine to sell their creations the ol’ fashioned way. They’ll also happily let you pick their brains if you’re interested in setting up your own Etsy shop. Make sure you cruise by and take a look – with Christmas two months away, the Etsy pop up markets should provide plenty of alternative gift ideas within your budget.
