Watch: KUČKA - Messed Up

Long-time favourite Aussie-via-LA producer and vocalist makes her solo return a year on from acclaimed debut album

After whetting our appetites for all things KUČKA with her collaboration with drum & bass producer IMANU back in March, today we are blessed with a new solo single in the form of the catchy and innovative Messed Up.

Combining modern electronic pop with deep, boundary pushing productions has become a staple of KUČKA’s work, with Messed Up being no exception as she combines elements of UK Garage and drum and bass, while twisting and manipulating her saccharine vocals in all manner of interesting and addictive ways.

On Messed Up, KUČKA reveals, "Messed up is about situations that we can get into that we know are bad for us, but it's also the reason that we are drawn to them. I actually wrote this song a few years back but could never get the production to work. A few months ago I sat down with it again and decided to start the production from scratch and everything just clicked within a couple of hours."

Featuring a tripped out, colour inverted festival themed video, give Messed Up a spin now!
