Watch hidden talent Noonie Bao's incredible new video for Reminds Me

Bao embraces the strange.

Noonie Bao’s story is that one-in-a-million tale you hear which restores your faith in humanity, even just for a little bit. Working as a cleaner in Parisian recording studio by day, Bao then turned budding recording artist by night, secretly recording her sounds in private. Since then, she’s written for powerhouses like Charlie XCX and Avicci. Now it’s Bao’s time to shine and her new music video Reminds Me is nothing short of left-of-centre. Director and DP Sebastian Mlynarski takes abstract to a whole new level and there’s never a dull moment, but the video does mimic that of a collage for some continuity. Colour is highlighted and pops out of the screen, and there’s something about Bao’s look and presence that is intriguing and keeps your attention. Keep an eye out for more of the uneexpected from Bao and check out her EP Nonnia.
