Tyler Touché still isn't sold on Armstrong's moon landing in his new single

After a decent breather, Tyler returns with a chirpy new tune.

Over the past few years, we've been big advocates of all things Of Leisure. The Sydney-based record label has been steadily building a clique, home to the likes of Young Franco, MUTO, Frames and of course Tyler Touché. As we cross over into the back half of 2017, the young purveyor of funk has decided to jump back on the release train. With a string of previous releases that stir up a joyous mood in Forever, New Feelings and Feel That You’re Real, Tyler continues to follow this path with a cut of very energetic dance - Moon Landing Is A HoaxMoon Landing Is A Hoax is a happy barrage of vocal snatches, glittery chords and crisp bass, with racy chord progressions intertwined with warm synth patterns, immediately carrying the tune to a joyous high. Toss in some sprightly vocal ad-libs and you've got yourself a pretty euphoric slice of music. I still can't put my finger on the inspiration behind the track's naming... but hey, maybe it's best left a mystery. Although we haven’t heard from Tyler in a little while, this release is yet another reminder of his knack for crafting contagiously fun house records, and with both shows and tunes to come for the Brisbane boy, what's left of this year is set to be mighty fine for Mr. Touché.
