Premiere: Kirrah shines on lowkey new electro-R&B jam, I Don't Need It

It's taken from an album release due later this year.

Sydney-based singer/songwriter Kirrah has unveiled a strong new single with I Don't Need It, one that also packs a very strong anti-bullying message amidst its impeccably-produced electronic/R&B vibes: "This single is about the people that thought cutting down those around them would rise them up - I don’t need that. I was often people’s second option as a friend, sports partner, girlfriend... I had people older than me wanting me to prove I deserved their approval to be recognised as a human being - and I sure as hell don’t need that, so Bye Felicia with the need to impress because I don’t need it."

It follows on from her previous - and equally strong - single, Fallin', which garnered plenty of attentino on radio and online, and sets the stage for the release of her new album, due to drop later this year. Until then though, bask in the empowering glow of I Don't Need It, below:
