Mr Oizo's Flat Eric returns for his Charli XCX collab, Hand In The Fire

The now CGI-enhanced puppet makes its first music video appearance in 16 years.

Unfortunately I was born a bit late to see Flat Eric make his music video debut in Mr Oizo's now iconic Flat Beat video clip (I was three when the video dropped), but the video has remained one of my personal favourite electronic videos of all time (you can watch it here, for nostalgia purposes). Now, almost 16 years later, Flat Eric has returned for on Mr Oizo's latest video, the Charli XCX-featuring Hand In The Fire. It sports a slightly more modernized Flat Eric racing against what is meant to be a Charli XCX-lookalike Flat Eric, and while it's not quite the same as the sausage-stuffing puppet in Flat Beat, it'll do us just fine.
