Wabz’s new single, Sweetwater, is a late night slow-burner.

There’s almost a moment of hesitation at the beginning of Sweetwater Creek, as if the track isn’t sure whether to go forwards but then the samples and looping drum beat swoop and you're in. That heady mix of chopped of vocal edits and soulful cuts speed up and slow down Sweetwater Creek respectively, and with drums that are a dry, frenzied mix almost reminiscent of 90s British garage, it all compliments the more synthetic nature of the rest of track - a soulful slice of serious two-step groove.
