Perth world-beaters Tame Impala are just about to kick off a huge Australian tour with shows all over the country. Their 3rd album, Currents, has been a massive hit world wide, debuting at number one on the Aria charts as well as dominating international charts including a number 4 spot on Billboard. But you already knew all this because Kev and the boys are absolutely everywhere at the moment.
Just when you thought there couldn’t possibly be any more Tame to treat yourself to, Spanish musician Nonak has released 8-bit covers of some of Tame Impala’s classics. The Nintendo64-esque sounds have even got the nod of approval from Mr. Parker, who says of the remake of 2010 album Innerspeaker's Alter Ego; “this is awesome”. We agree!
