Listen to L D R U's newest banger, Next To You

A warm, summer-vibing new single, with a hook almost as catchy as his earworm Keeping Score.

L D R U is no stranger to the realm of tropical-electronica, so when he does it, he does it good. Most recently, Pop That and Keeping Score have been A-grade examples of this captivating, warm summer sound, but his newest single Next To You might've just trumped them. Vocals courtesy of Brisbane vocalist and producer Savoi really pushes along the single's instrumental, with Savoi lending L D R U one of the biggest hooks we've heard to date from the producer (hard considering how easily Keeping Score gets stuck in your head). Vocals aside, the production on Next To You is pretty top notch too, with layers of synth harmonies joining to create a real retro-ish sound, which comes in after a quick-paced percussion build up before the chorus kicks in. Considering the summer vibes that pack into any of L D R U's work, you would think that this time of year going into the winter months would be L D R U's kryptonite, but Next To You manages to prove us wrong. The dude himself will also be jet-setting around the country in July for his mammoth Keeping Score tour, with Moving Castle affiliate Manila Killa coming across for the ride too. Peep the dates below.
