Listen: Paces - Bamboo

Another week, another A+ single from Paces.

In case you haven’t noticed – we’re a bloody big fan of Paces. His feel-good, tropical-infused ‘$wågwave’ has had our hearts taken since we first heard of him early last year, so much so that we’ve interviewed him via text (read HERE), brought the man himself over for an At The Pile date (re-cap HERE), and have a blog post for at least a dozen pieces of his work.

Today, the sultan of swag has released Bamboo, the B-side to his latest single, the swift and charming Hold It Down (watch the video HERE) and the second single from his upcoming EP, which shares a name with the previously mentioned collaboration with Reija Lee. Bamboo is the epitome of summer, with a glistening, percussion-infused melody and light clicks throughout. Definitely one of the most renowned faces of electronic music in Australia, Paces’ assortment of singles keep growing and growing, getting better with each cut, a feat not easily done. Bamboo is available HERE, and is sure to get a play when he kicks off his Hold It Down tour with our boy Leon Osborn this weekend in Perth.
