Listen: NGHTMRE & Slander – Warning (Boombox Cartel Remix)

Run the traaaaaaap and prepare for Boombox Cartel's trip down under.

You may be familiar with the Boombox Cartel crew and their latest original single, B2U, featuring Ian Everson. The heavy, future-bass sound mixed with some light vocal work struck a chord within many, but now the LA duo has returned and with a darker, deeper and definitely larger sound with a remix of the already heavy Warning, originally done by trap-kings NGHTMRE and Slander. In my opinion, the tune is a bit too heavy and full on to be one of those background tunes, but will no doubt go down a treat in the clubs with its quick, yet pretty chilled out build-up before launching straight into a heavy drop and then returning back for a second round two minutes later. It’ll no doubt strike a chord when the duo returns to Australia for a full tour (see below). Prepare your squads, rinsers.
