Ya boy Paces returns with thumping new single, Savage feat. Nyne

After a breakout 2016, Paces doesn't plan on slowing down in 2017.

Following a quite frankly enormous 2016, Gold Coast-based producer and sultan of swag, Paces, is kicking off 2017 in style with new single Savage featuring Melbourne singer/songwriter/producer Nyne. It's (kinda but not really) a bit darker than we're used to from one of the smiliest men in the biz, and it also serves as a bit of an intro for many to the vocal stylings of Nyne, which are perfect for the track. Mikey explains how the track came together:

The tunes I've been writing lately have been a bit heavier and a bit more danceable than my previous stuff. I'm still trying to keep it super fun and I still love pretty chords and melody, but it's evolved a bit since the Vacation album... When I first heard Nyne on a track I had to stop the car and make sure I got her name so that I could reach out. She just has such a unique sound! It was the same feeling I had when I first heard Jess Kent, KUČKA, and Tkay Maidza. She's going to be huge and I hope that this track helps people to discover what a great talent she is.”

Mission accomplished if you ask us. Take a listen below, and catch Paces when he hits the road again, first supporting Hot Dub Time Machine on a few of his upcoming Hot Dub Wine Machine Tour dates, then supporting Illy on his Two Degrees Tour (dates down the bottom).
