Chicago’s house superstar continues his rise with euphoric new single featuring vocals from UK artist Hayla

Not content with being one of the busiest touring DJs in dance music, renowned producer John Summit has released his highly anticipated, fan favourite cut Where You Are, featuring British artist Hayla delivering some stunning vocals.

His first new music for the year, John had worked with Hayla previously (in a way), as last year he remixed Escape (Hayla’s huge hit with Kaskade & deadmau5), making the collaboration of Where You Are all the more enticing.

A soulful, rolling cut of euphoric vocal house, Summit shares his thoughts on Where You Are, saying "When I first premiered ‘Where You Are’ at the LA Coliseum, I was absolutely stunned by the reaction it received and I knew right away this track would be something special. Every time I play it out it's easily the most powerful track in my sets and I truly feel like it's my best record to date."

Meanwhile, Hayla explains “This track encapsulates the feeling of longing. When you’re alone at night tossing and turning wondering about the other person and if they’re alone, or with someone else, or missing you, unable to sleep too. Hoping that your bond is strong enough to pull you back together and wondering if they ever feel as good alone or with someone else as they do when they’re with you. The deep down feeling … I wanna be where you are."

Where You Are comes ahead of an as-always jam-packed schedule for Summit (who played Australia in late 2022), including a South American tour, slot at Creamfields in England and his own headline gig at the iconic Red Rocks amphitheatre in Colorado.
