Composed of Skela and DJ Wallstreet, HVLLOWZ describe themselves as ‘indie goth-trap’, and their new single The River is a delicate blend of Skela’s soft, R&B-diva-influenced vocals and crowded percussion work, combining for some Purity Ring-esque vibes. Indeed, fans of that duo will find heaps to love with The River. It goes down an absolute treat and is a damn good sign for a duo that has only been around for a matter of months.
