Aussie electronic duo Ducks! return to their Tiny Lights studio in Berlin to craft their latest indie disco banger Hey You, a dance floor anthem for the socially anxious.

Formed in 2014 by Lani Bagley and Craig Schuftan, the pair combining percolating synths and dreamy vocal harmonies with found sounds recorded on ancient cassette players, creating something quite unique and infectiously fun that always brings the party - whether it’s to hype you up for a night out, or witnessing them live on European and Australian stages.

Kicking along with an uplifting beat, deep bass, and swirling detuned synth flurries that dance around cut-through vocal takes, Hey You narrates the mental push and pull of not wanting to let people down, but also not wanting to leave the couch. With a foot-tapping, get up and move-along kind of energy juxtaposing the repeated lyrics “I have had a breakdown, stay here” it’s a tune that acknowledges a deteriorating state of mind, whilst inviting you to the dancefloor to embrace it whilst getting your groove on.

Be sure to check out Ducks! and their latest release Hey You below as it enters the world today.
