Exploring our modern hyper-obsession with celebrities and parasocial relationships is Dorian Electra on their big & bold third album, Fanfare.
Blurring the lines between love and hate, fandom and control, Dorian crafted Fanfare with a handful of longtime collaborators: Clarence Clarity and Weston Allen, Casey MQ, Count Baldor and Klaxons’ Jamie Reynolds.
While broadly classified as electropop, Fanfare sees Electra taking cues from everything including jazz, classical and even metal, combining them in her unique, distinct sound.
