Listen: Da'bois - Things You Do

Introducing the Backstreet Boys of Australian house music: Da'bois.

Sorry One Direction, Backstreet Boys, NYSNC and The Jackson 5, but there's a new boy-band in town and they're freakin' awesome. Introducing Da'bois - the all-star combination of Aussie house front-runners/all-round legends Mike Metro, LO'99, Benson, Terace and last but definitely not least, Dom Dolla. Released through Medium Rare Recordings, Da'bois have launched their project with Things You Do, a heaving slapper of a tune that brings the best of each producer in their own right and condenses it into five minutes of sweaty house goodness. Things You Do features all the best bits of a good house belter: the thumping bass stabs, the 4x4 snare hits and a ripper synth melody, yet at the same time squeezes in a damn addictive vocal loop to create one of the most seasoned house tunes of the year. Here's hoping that they don't follow down the same path of some other boy-bands (sorry 5ive) and follow it up with something special, but if not, I don't even mind because Things You Do is THAT good.
