Hailing from Perth, local DJ/producer Axen is our next top tip for local artists you should get behind before it's too late. He's experimented with everything from big-room to house in the past but now the producer, real name Jackson Brown, has shared his cleanest production to date. It's in the form of Without You, a smooth, yet dangerous trap banger that premiered on EDM.com's Trap channel yesterday. It doesn't take long to get going, with a light, piano-based melody building until an explosion of bass and high-pitched vocal cuts. Without You is the producer's first trap original and with the reception it's getting, I wouldn't be surprised if he stuck to this sound because it's bloody working. Listen below:
