Watch: Sons of Rico - What Am I Doing Here?

A snappy new single from Sons of Rico.

Sons of Rico are back with a nifty clip for their up-beat single titled What Am I Doing Here? which is an existential ode to what's the point of relationships at times. Definitely relatable to anyone who has had a shitty relationship *everyone raises their hand*. But just coated in some sharp guitar licks and a it-is-going-to-be-okay-if-this-sounds-happy kind of mood, and I mean what song that questions everything isn't somehow up-beat? That's the beauty of music, you can make the sad and confusing happy with a few guitar riffs. The well-made music video adds to the mania of the song as we watch a useless couple fall apart because of an iPhone. I'd also like to point out here that being a puppet and dating a human wasn't going to always work out. But when the music video is as cleverly shot and designed as this one is, there's a definite pleasure in watching it all fall apart.
