Watch: Tobias Jesso Jr - Without You

Without You is the strongest song on Tobias Jesso Jr.’s debut album Goon; it takes the strengths of Jesso’s early demos, his Lennon-eseque vocals and warm piano keys and combines them with light percussion to make a heartfelt ballad. The nature of the lyrics is nothing new (love) - people always have and always will try to define love within a song. Rather it’s Jesso’s mid-ranged vocals and tender piano keys that makes it stand out. And the video too attracts attention with the traditional young and beautiful actors dropped in place of an elderly woman and young man.
