Premiere: Usurper Of Modern Medicine enter the VR world with 360 video clip for Ego War

Ender the warped world of Usurper's studio for their new single, Ego War.

West Australian three-piece Usurper Of Modern Medicine are back to blow your mind both sonically and especially visually with their new single, Ego War, and its head-fucking 360-degree video clip. A completely immersive and interactive experience, you can join the group in their rehearsal studio using your smartphone or VR goggles. However, it's not just like you're chilling in the room with the guys for very long, as things take a predictably (given the group we're dealing with) trippy turn.

It was directed by Usurper’s Steven Aaron Hughes and shot by Cinematographer Sam Winzar using mathematical processing designed by collaborating artist Henry Segerman - the band performs in a Möbius strip - and endless infinite loop of vortex dimensions hurtling into the next.

Ego War also marks news of a new Usurper Of Modern Medicine album, a follow-up to their 2014 debut, Omnilberation, which is due out 2016. And if Ego War is our start point, we look forward to seeing what happens down the rabbit hole. Until then, check them live when they launch Ego War Satuday 21 May at the Four5Nine Bar, supported by Spaceman, Mayor Dadi and The Body Boys (event HERE).
