Premiere: The Bear Hunt become the hunted in the video for latest single, Name & Shame

The band have a heap of launch shows coming up in October.

Brisbane sludge-pop four-piece The Bear Hunt are racing towards the release of their new EP, Fallen On Deaf Ears (due October 13), and Name & Shame is the latest taste from it. The hard-and-fast single also now comes with an equally hard-and-fast, pleasantly DIY video clip featuring the band getting kidnapped to pump out the song for a couple of dastardly bogans. On this latest single, vocalist Bec Wilson said: “Lloyd and I wrote this song a while back when a bunch of grown adults we knew were carrying on like a group of school children, bitching about other people behind their backs. If you have a problem, find a way to deal with it. Don’t whinge and spread rumours. Front up and fight your own battles, don’t do it for your mate who is carrying on like a spoiled brat. We wanted to write a full blown punk song but still with essence of Bear Hunt.”

Check out the clip below, and catch 'em live at one of a few upcoming tour dates, including the EP launch on October 13 (full list down the bottom):
