Premiere: Wollongong's GOSH make a summery return with Never Lose You

They've also announced an east coast tour, which will see the five-piece play a couple of venues this May.

Wollongong indie-rock five-piece GOSH are a band on the edge of a national breakout, with their cult-like audience growing in both size and voice as they band seemingly go from strength to strength with every release; whether that be their glittery debut single Honestly towards the start of last year, or their most recent Take A Leaf, a track that showed a "very polished sound that is instantly likeable." With a sun-soaked indie-rock sound meeting the polish and shine you'd expect from our guitar-wielding big guns, it's not too hard to figure out why GOSH are quickly becoming Australian favourites, but it's safe to say that they blew us out the water last year (and everyone else too), winning triple j Unearthed's Yours & Owls competition and supporting names including Lime Cordiale over the last year.

Today, we get the first glimpse at what's bound to be a triumphant year ahead, with the band debuting a brilliant new single with a handful of east coast dates dotted out for this May. Never Lose You, the new track, is a lush return from the Wollongong crew that combines thick layers of breezy guitar melodies with a rhythmic percussive pace, which forms a perfect backing for the tall-standing vocals to sway over the top of. "Never Lose You came together pretty quickly," says the band on the single. "The melody’s got an odd familiarity to it straight off the bat, which was pretty apparent as soon as Zach first played it to everyone. It was a super interesting experience as a band to go through, actually!" 2019 is going to be a big year for GOSH, and Never Lose You is just the start. Listen to the track below, and find their upcoming tour dates underneath.

Tour Dates:

Friday, 17th May Yah Yah’s, Melbourne
Saturday, 18th May - Tories, Kiama
Saturday, 25th May - Frankie’s Pizza, Sydney
Sunday, 26th May - North Wollongong Hotel, Wollongong
