Premiere: Asha Jefferies copes with a certain type of 'Chaos' on warm new single

A song about reflecting on the people around us, and accepting all parts of them.

Brissy-based singer/songwriter Asha Jefferies is gearing up to unleash another wonderfully earnest new single, Chaos, which we're stoked to premiere today. Lyrically the song finds Jefferies looking at the people around/close to her, embracing them as they are - that is through the good and the bad: "Chaos captures everything I felt driving to a party one night last year. I remember watching my friend behind the wheel, realising they were driving me into a lot of chaos and wherever I followed them, that chaos came too." Sonically the track is a warm, emotive piece of alt-folk, with some at-times epic guitar work and rumbling drums.

Intimate, honest and open, combined with a clear musical talent, make Asha Jefferies an exciting young artist on the Aussie indie/folk scene, one that's only just getting started.
