Meanjin/Brisbane based duo Arches had a breakout 2022, working alongside giants The Veronicas, The Middle East, and Hope D, in addition to crafting their live show with support slots for the likes of Telenova and Shannen James. Blending hyperpop, R&B, and 2000s nostalgia, the pair unveil their debut EP Arches Mixtape - premiering today before its official release this Friday.

Influenced by Tyler the Creator, Frank Ocean, and The 1975, bandmates Mason and Sam refine their pop sensibilities in Arches Mixtape, whilst showcasing their experimental production style. Drawing inspiration from the pair's innermost thoughts, Mason shares that “As producers we’re constantly creating new material and are often experimenting with different styles and genres. Our different production styles come together nicely and this mixtape is an ode to that.”

Already catching the attention of triple J as artist-to-watch in 2022, Arches are sure to continue expanding their national reach with the infectious tracks on Arches Mixtape. So be sure to jump on it early, and take a listen to the new EP as we premiere it below.

Arches' debut EP Arches Mixtape is out Friday 24th February, 2023.
