Gunns bring plenty of sun, surf and nostalgia on new single, Who's Gonna Be Your Dog

A crackling taste of their upcoming EP, She's A Rainbow.

Perth-based band outfit GUNNS could be the next beach-side, live-music kings (and queen) if their EP She’s A Rainbow (due Feb 12) is anything like their cruisy song Who’s Gonna Be Your Dog. Gunn’s newest single manages to tap into everyone's fantasies of heading back to a simpler time, whilst also appealing to the older generation’s memories of grom hair, Utes, Kombis and long-hair out the window whilst speeding down the coast. It’s the sort of song anyone could sit back and relax to with drinking a nice cold beer in hand overlooking the beach.

There's a grungier feel of the Beach Boys on the track, which is the epitome of groovy. It's a perfectly-timed laid-back summer song that you could play loudly and not get told off by your neighbours. In the lead up to releasing their EP in February the band is supporting fellow Perth band San Cisco in March and The Strokes' Albert Hammond Jnr in February - check all the dates down below:
