Premiere: Listen to a hazy, soulful new single from Field Of Wolves - Yellow Star

The Sydney trio and brainchild Holly Bestic knock their latest out of the park.

We first came across Sydney three-piece Field Of Wolves last year, becoming very enamoured with their single at the time, Back To Barcelona. Helmed by vocalist/guitarist Holly Bestic, the trio making an irresistible blend of smokey soul and indie-rock, one that seems very wonderfully suited to a glass of your finest whiskey and a hazy fire.

Their latest single Yellow Star is another pearler, Bestic once again joined by her tiger-tight rhythm section of Arne Utiger (Bin Juice), "Skinny" Dave Noble and Dominic Breen on guitar, along with production from Stefan Du Randt (Studios 301), all combining for a sultry slice of modern rock and soul.
