Exclusive: Stream The Tommyhawks' excellent new EP, This Is Not A Desert Island

The folk-rock four-piece get it done on the excellent new five-tracker.

Over the course of three years since forming, Perth's The Tommyhawks have gone from strength to strength - playing over 20 festivals around Oz, scoring a WAM Song Of The Year Nom last year, and even having a track featured in Ben Elton's new movie, Three Summers. And summer is a good place to start when it comes to their new EP, This Is Not A Desert Island, officially out tomorrow but streaming a day early for your listening pleasure.

Indeed it's an uplifting, dance-around-the-beach five tracker at times, even with the EP's headier themes of mental health and recognising when or even if its time to grow up. Take a listen below, and catch them live when they launch the EP at Badlands on September 22 (info HERE).
