Music videos are artistic extensions of the songs themselves, with many visual accompaniments becoming just as, if not more iconic than the song it was created for. As usual, some of our favourite songs of the week also had some of our favourite videos, with this week's list including new singles & videos from Arlo Parks, BENEE, Gimmy, GloRilla, Joan & The Giants, Jungle, Leah Senior, Militarie Gun, Rin McArdle and Sly Withers!

Arlo Parks - Devotion

Mellow 90s style indie/alt-rock vibes on the last single from Parks' new album with a throwback style video featuring Arlo and band jamming out in an elevator. Arlo Parks' new album My Soft Machine is out now via Transgressive.

BENEE - Bagels

Teaming up with Auckland University of Technology and New Zealand charity Youthline, alt-pop prodigy BENEE  delivers a chilled slice of downtempo sounds designed to ease feelings of anxiousness, with a delightfully colourful CGI video.

GIMMY - Sweat (An Australian Summer)

Formerly known as Gimmy Flowens, GIMMY returns with a fun & jangly cut of indie sounds alongside a humourous, appropriate and extremely Aussie video.

GloRilla - Lick Or Sum

Hip hop royalty Juicy J flips the same sample he did for Three 6 Mafia's iconic "Slob On My Knob" and updates it for 2023 with GloRilla delivering a track of similar sentiments from a woman's perspective.

Joan & The Giants - Cool Kid

Boorloo/Perth indie poppers team up with Perth Youth Film Academy for the video for their latest single, resulting in a nostalgic, funny and uplifting film clip.

Jungle - Dominoes

Slick & stylish studio choreography is the order of the day for Jungle's new single of chill & tropical flavours. Jungle's new album Volcano is out August 11 via Caiola Records.

Leah Senior - Pony

Gorgeous, majestic folk sounds from Naarm/Melbourne-based singer-songwriter, with a fun, pastoral themed video featuring some great costumes, including of course the eponymous Pony. Leah Senior's new album The Music That I Make is out August 18 via Poison City Records.

Militarie Gun - Will Logic

Hardcore vocals meet indie-rock on Californian five-piece's new one, with a clever film clip featuring vocalist Ian Shelton singing in a range of public places with some clever editing at play.

Rin McArdle - Something Blue (ft. Georgia Maq)

Naarm/Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer teams up with Georgia Maq (Camp Cope) on her new single of emotional indie/alt rock sounds, with a video taking cues from Norwegian black metal legends Immortal, corpse paint and all. Rin McArdle's debut, self-titled album is out July 28.

Sly Withers - Liar

A standout cut from their acclaimed 2022 LP Overgrown, the Boorloo-based indie-punk four-piece channel their epic live shows (and some behind the scenes goodness) on new music video, featuring them performing in Perth's iconic Astor Theatre. Sly Withers' album Overgrown is out now.

Enjoy all these tunes as well as our favourite singles of the week and a stack of other new music we've been feeling in our Office playlist, updated (almost) daily.
