With so much new music coming out each and every day, it can be hard to listen to everything... but we'll be damned if we don't try. Here are our 13 favourite tunes from the week that was from the likes of Angel Olsen, Ash Digs, B. Cool-Aid, d4vd, Dinner Party, Fazerdaze, Hatchie, Kool Keith & Real Bad Man, Roisin Murphy, SBTRKT, Tame Impala, Telenova and Yaya Bey!

Angel Olsen - Nothing's Free

Recorded during the sessions for her 2022 record Big Time, Nothing's Free is a delightful, mellow and melodic cut of atmospheric indie-pop with some show stealing saxophone action. Angel Olsen's new EP Forever Means is out April 14 on Jagjaguwar.

Ash Digs - All Dressed Up

The sophomore single from Boorloo's Ash Digs is an addictive cut of downtempo, genre-fusing goodness that sees him fusing elements of blues, psych and alt-rock (that we premiered earlier this week!). Ash Digs new EP Tapes of You is out in May.

B. Cool-Aid - soundgood (Feat. Liv.e, Jimetta Rose, & V.C.R.)

The latest single from Pink Siffu & Ahwlee's collaboration heavy B. Cool-Aid project is a soulful cut of smooth as silk hip hop. B. Cool-Aid's new album Leather Blvd. is out March 31 via Lex Records.

d4vd - Worthless

Indie pop star on the rise d4vd drops a catchy new anthem, further showcasing his talents for crafting addictive earworms. d4vd will be touring Australia in April.

Dinner Party - Insane (Feat. Ant Clemons)

The jazz & hip hop supergroup of Kamasi Washington, Robert Glasper, 9th Wonder & Terrace Martin are back with the chill and effortlessly cool new single, featuring American vocalist Ant Clemons.

Fazerdaze - Flood Into

After breaking her five year hiatus last year (that we chatted to her about here), Fazerdaze releases the formerly vinyl-only, hook-filled Shoegazey single.

Hatchie - Rooftops (feat. Liam Benzvi)

Written in the time between finishing her acclaimed 2022 Giving The World Away and it's eventual release, Rooftops is the first new song from the forthcoming deluxe edition of Giving The World Away that will have five new songs, three of which feature local legend Jay Watson (GUM, Pond, Tame Impala) on drums.

Kool Keith & Real Bad Man - Fire & Ice (feat. Atmosphere & Ice-T)

Heavyweight multi-generational old school indie hip hop collab lives up to the expectations that come with a list of names like that. Kool Keith & Real Bad Man's new album Serpent is out March 24.

Roisin Murphy - CooCool

Another legendary collab, tip-hop and dance music icon Róisín Murphy's new single of laidback, poppy funk & disco-influenced sounds was produced by veteran producer DJ Koze, continuing the pair's collaborations together. CooCool is out via legendary label Ninja Tune, marking the first time Murphy has released on the label.

SBTRKT - Waiting (Feat. Teezo Touchdown)

Beloved British producer SBTRKT announced his first album in seven years with the lows lung, soulful new single featuring American artist Teezo Touchdown. The Rat Race is out May 5 via AWAL.

Tame Impala - Wings of Time

Written for the new film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Kevin Parker tapped D&D enthusiast and Pon frontman Nicholas Allbrook to help him with the subject matter, resulting in an epic, fantasy-fuelled single of prog-rock influenced sounds.

Telenova - Lost in the Rush

A fan favourite from their live sets, Naarm-trio Telenova's new single is a delightful slice of soaring alternative indie sounds with a nice dash of trip hop thrown in the mix. A limited vinyl repress of Telenova's 2022 EP Stained Glass is out April 14.

Yaya Bey - on the pisces moon

A rocksteady, reggae-influenced single of aural sunshine from the Brooklyn-based artist's forthcoming EP. Exodus of the North Star is out March 24 via Big Dada.
