New Music: Sommeil - Touch

Sydney-based producer Sommeil releases an addicting, synth-pop tune.

Karlin Courtney AKA Sydney-based producer Sommeil, has unleashed the first taste of his recently-born electronic project in the form of Touch, a smooth, synth-packed jam. Imagine the smooth, soul-influenced vocal work of The Weeknd or Toro Y Moi, crossed and blended with the 90’s synth and electronic beatwork typical of artists such as Flight Facilities. The end result is something spectacular, a quick, dance-pop tune with plenty of R&B vibes from Courtney’s pervious work thanks to his soft vocal work. It’s really something else.
