New Music: Slum Sociable - Anyway

Welcome to the washed out lo-fo jazz-hop world of Mordialloc, Victoria-based duo Slum Sociable.

Dubbed as Mordialloc’s filthiest animals in the presser I received about Slum Sociable, that is unfortunately about all I'm able to tell you at this juncture. The first thing it did was introduce a place known as Mordialloc to me, which I now know is in Victoria, and whatever goes on out there has produced an absolutely killer piece of lo-fi psychedelic-pop. It first appeared on influential UK website The Line Of Best Fit, and it's not hard to see why - the trip hop elements that have become synonymous with the Bristol area of the world abound on Anyway, and instantly stamp them as an act to watch in 2015. You can do just that when they make their live debut at Sugar Mountain Festival in a couple of weeks, but until then chuck this one on repeat:
