It is safe to say that Seattle-raised group ODESZA has had a pretty damn massive year. Their latest album, In Return, was one of the biggest electronic releases of the year, collecting a whopping ten #1’s on the Hype Machine charts, as well as performances around the world, including the Coachella Music and Arts Festival. One of the tracks on this album, the delicate and bouncy Bloom, has been honored by an absolutely stellar remix by producer Lane 8, also known to friends and family as Daniel Goldstein. The remix transforms the original into an absolutely banging house tune, using the atmospheric synth and vocals chopped from the original, Goldstein has added a quick hit of heavy bass and percussion to transform the tune into the perfect summer-house tune. It’s a real banger.
