Huon Kind is part of the 80s blue-eyed soul/disco scene that has been bubbling up on the east coast of Australia due to artists like GL and Client Liaison to name a few. At times you wonder whether it’s a grand joke that someone has spent too much money on but that’s for a think piece to come from future me. For now the guitars that recall synchronized dancing scenes, the all-embracing bass line and lyrics that cover the standard; ‘I love you so much’ are just perfect. Huon Kind keep being Huon Kind.
