Watch a supercut filled with a heap of rad Simpsons movie references

From Pulp Fiction to A Clockwork Orange to E.T., and everything in between.

I love The Simpsons - I grew up on the show and constantly laughed my ass off even if I didn't quite understand half the now obvious undertones and underlying messages when I was a kid. I feel like the show, and of course Matt Groening, constantly deserves more praise for it's obscure references and nods to literally everything, including movies - but all they really get are 40 year old dudes yelling at them on Facebook comments for "not being like the olden days", because you know, no-one becomes out-of-touch with the current day trends that fly by so fucking quickly. Anyway, obviously Celia Gómez thinks the same, because she's compiled a really rad supercut of all the seemingly hidden references to film across the tv series' 20-something seasons. Done by placing the film scenes side-by-side with their animated counterparts, it creates something actually pretty impressive and clever.

In case that's not enough movie references for you, someone's created a gif-filled tumblr blog that go through even more. Check it out here.
