FBi Radio's National Northern Lights Competition is back for 2016

With the chance to play Iceland Airwaves Festival and record at Sigur Rόs’s studio.

As of today, Sydney independent broadcaster FBi radio will be accepting entries to the National Northern Lights Competition for this year, looking to introduce another up and coming Australian star to the world. The competition, now in it's fifth year, selects one talented Aussie artist to be flown to Reykjavik, Iceland as part of the lineup for the Iceland Airwaves Festival on the 2nd to the 6th of November this year. Along with flights and accommodation, winners will be given the chance to network with industry veterans, spend a day recording in Sigur Rόs’s Sundlaugin Studio as well as three days in Studios 301 back in Sydney, to mix and master the recordings. Previous winners include artists like LUCIANBLOMKAMP, The Walking Who, Moon Holiday, Lanterns, Rainbow Chan and Oliver Tank. Entrants have until August 5 to get their names in and submit their music HERE.
