Cosmo's Midnight, MUTO, Pogo and Ribongia unite for an insane visual show at Vivid

Painting With Light will see some of Australian electronic's best take over Sydney's Imperial Hotel this June.

This year's Vivid Music calendar is already huge, with names including Goldfrapp, Sampha, Nick Murphy and The Avalanches already on the mammoth bill. That said, it just got a little bigger with the addition of the Painting With Light Interactive Light & Sound Showcase, featuring a bill composed of some of Australian electronic's current best paired with captivating, state-of-the-art visuals including projection mapping, holograms and roaming performers. On the music side of things, the line-up boasts Sydney twins Cosmo's Midnight off the back of their History single, Sydney animator and producer POGO, who will be flipping classic pop culture and animation visuals and combining them with psychedelic electronic sounds, triple j-favourite MUTO, and IMAGINARIUM - the part dance party, part art gallery, and part cinema audio-visual pairing of Ribongia with Australian visuals don EGO. They're all set to take over Sydney's Imperial Hotel, which will be completely redesigned by a group of Sydney light and set designers through the use of immersive light and fog, on June 10.
