Watch: Killer Mike - Run feat. Dave Chappelle & Young Thug

Run the Jewels MC teams up with Thugger & legendary comedian for first solo track in 10 years

While his last solo record R.A.P. Music dropped back in 2012, MC Killer Mike has been more than busy as the voice of Run the Jewels (alongside producer El-P), as well as an in demand actor and host. All of that on his plate makes the news that he is not only back, but teaming up with Young Thug plus a Dave Chappelle intro on the music video all the more exciting.

Featuring a vibe-packed trap beat full of horns, vocal melodies and organs courtesy of producer NO I.D., Run sees Mike at his powerful and free flowing best, while Thug’s inimitable vocals provide the perfect switch up on his verse.

Run also features a cinematic music video, directed by Adrian Villagomez as a representation of the “Just against the tyrannical, Black people and allied people up in arms together rising against the Nazi-esque secessionists that want to take the country back into the confederacy”.

Give Run a watch and listen and cross your fingers for an album sooner rather than later…
