Toronto’s Belly offers a full slice of Another Day in Paradise

A new fire addition to the under the radar star’s catalogue.

Roc Nation signee and Weeknd/XO affiliate Belly has dropped his newest full length project Another Day in Paradise to give your ears some well earned, and well deserved, love. A hot offering, with the Toronto based artist showing he means serious business right from the project’s opening cut It’s All Love featuring Starrah (a ‘mysterious’ name to keep your eye on for the future) and a brief uncredited Weeknd cameo.

From a stacked roster, Travi$ Scott pops up as the project’s first big name feature, before fellow huge names such as Waka Flocka Flame, Kehlani, Lil Wayne and Juicy J follow suit with guest contributions, between tracks where Belly confidently takes the spotlight solo. Offering up a bit of everything for fans both new and old - from R&B influences, through hip-hop and further then into trap territory with Strip Club (drug) friendly anthems such as Zanzibar with Juicy J - Belly’s Another Day in Paradise is yet another solid release for the extraordinary month of May we have had in music.

A practicing Muslim, Belly is an intriguing personality with an interesting sound, and an impressive list of past and present collaborators. Having already given us one of 2015’s hottest mixtapes with Up For Days, Belly has struck gold again with Another Day in Paradise and could well be set for more extensive mainstream attention in the near future. Peep the project below, be kind, rewind and spread the word.
