Rae Sremmurd and Lil Jon Set the Roof on fire for the latest SremmLife 2 track

Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi join forces with the King of Crunk

Fans of Rae Sremmurd are on the edge of their seats this week, as the hip hop duo are set to finally release second studio album SremmLife 2 this friday, August 12. Today, those same fans have reason to rejoice days out from the album's release, as Rae Sremmurd have officially dropped Lil Jon collaboration track Set the Roof and its accompanying, bizarre visual.

Of course, between strippers and a strange, miniature version of the eponymous creature from the Alien film franchise, Set The Roof finds Rae Sremmurd's Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi at their charismatic best, bouncing off the contributions from Lil Jon and groovy, bass-heavy production overseen by dual talents Mike Will Made-It and DJ Mustard. With the hip hop world anxious to see how Rae Sremmurd continue on from their popular debut album, Set The Roof may well be the very best kind of step in the right direction.

Watch the new video below, and pre-order SremmLife 2 via iTunes now.
