Watch the stunning video for Gordi's single, So Here We Are

Plus watch a vid of the songstress performing live with Bon Iver.

Gordi, one of Australia's most gifted singer/songwriters, has just released a video for her brilliant track, So Here We Are, and I'm hard pressed to recall a set of visuals that have ever matched a song so perfectly. The single was one of many highlights from Gordi's debut EP, Clever Disguise, which dropped back in May this year. The mesmerising video for So Here We Are, produced by Thomas Rawle and shot by PAXI, finds Gordi sitting in the back of a moving car as passing shadows cast other worldly shapes and colours across the singer's face. The tune itself sees the Sydney songstress use a vocoder, an instrument which manipulates vocals, to create haunting but beautiful layers using her own voice - much the way the video uses colours and graphics to blend fiction and reality.

Gordi's incredible talent hasn't gone unnoticed outside of Australia either, with Bon Iver vocalist Justin Vernon recently asking the singer to join his band on stage, as part of a backing choir, for their live performance of new single, 8 (circle), on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Watch that epic perfomance at the bottom of the page, below the video for So Here We Are.
