Watch: FKA Twigs - Glass & Patron

A freaky childbirth scene, a runway in the forest, a vogue dance battle...FKA's new video goes everywhere.

We thought horror pregnancy video clips couldn’t get much looser than Shlohmo’s chilling clip for his recent track Buried, but today the prolific Video Girl FKA Twigs gave the WeDidIt producer a run for his money with the premiere of her hectic visuals for Glass & Patron, created for the 2015 YouTube Music Awards. Glass & Patron is also a brand new song, her first new music since last year’s mesmerising LP1. This track will feature on the artist’s forthcoming third EP that’s set for release in Australia later this year via her label Young Turks.

As with most of her videos, Glass & Patron was written, produced and choreographed by Twigs herself, although the track’s got an assist from producer Boots. The surreal clip starts with pregnant FKA twigs alone in a remote, freaky-looking forest, where she self-births a string of coloured fabric, that morphs into a troupe of dancers, who then engage in a dance battle on a catwalk.
