Premiere: Listen to Twig Pigeon's percussive new single, Tokens feat. Rachel Fraser

Taken from his new EP, Beyonds, due January next year.

Twig Pigeon is the moniker of New Zealand-based producer Ricky Simmonds, and we're delighted to premiere his latest single Tokens feat. Rachel Fraser today. The single, taken from his January 25-due sophomore EP Beyonds, is a percussive little number filled with warm, washed out production and the soulful, captivating vocals of Rachel Fraser.

The EP has been a couple of years in the making, and it's been a cathartic process for Simmonds: "It has been a long process for me on this record. Dealing with big changes in my life and going through some significant learning experiences along the way. I felt when this EP was complete, the time searching for the most authentic sonic representation of what I have been going through was worth it. The EP is a step by step reaction through the initial anxiety of something you’re going through, towards the outcome; where you emerge as a stronger and more resilient person of who you were when you began. Treating what can feel like a challenging emotionally driven ending as an inspirational beginning to what is ahead for you."

It'll feature this, the already-released Phantom feat. Martine, and one more single in early January, but until then, dive into the immersive world of Tokens below:
