Set Mo share new single Nightmares feat. Scott Quinn, announce Aus tour dates

The Sydney production duo plans to release a new single every month this year, and we're excited.

Sydney production pairing Set Mo had a whopper 2017 off the back of their summery Woodes collaboration I Belong Here, which continues to pack a punch over six months since its release. Now they're back, teaming up with Scott Quinn for another great single in Nightmares, which kicks off a monthly series of tracks which will see the house duo release eleven singles throughout the rest of the year. It's a bit of a darker single from Set Mo, with Scott Quinn's impressive vocals feeling really at home amongst Set Mo's brooding production, which pulses with their characteristically flavoursome house sound. "We met Scott Quinn for the first time and immediately had a connection, he’s an amazing songwriter and lyricist not to mention his crazy good voice," says Set Mo on the single, and how their collaboration with the London multi-instrumentalist came about. "We were playing around with the lyrical concept of anxiety as it seemed to fit with the deeper feel of the track, and is something that so many people can relate to. The song then came together in a number of hours. It was one of those sessions when it all happened very quickly and naturally and the entire track was pretty much written that day which we always feel leads to the best ones."

It comes with news that Set Mo plan to release a new single each month for the rest of the year, with the pairing opting for a spread-out release in favour of a full-length album to "show the journey" of how the songs were created, and to show "how the story has developed over time." It's bound to be a diverse, yet an exciting collection of singles, which will continue to show how Set Mo change and evolve their sound with every release.

Because all good news comes in threes, Set Mo have one more announcement arriving with the release of Nightmares. The pairing will set off for an expansive Australian/NZ tour over the next few months, which will see Set Mo hit up a whole range of venues and festivals around the country (and our next door neighbours New Zealand) – peep the full dates below, and grab your tickets HERE.
