Premiere: Jack Stirling brings some disco fire on new single, Honey
The funkiest damn tune you'll hear today.
I'm tempted to tell you to skip the preamble and just head straight down to the funkiest, freshest tune I've heard in a long time, but then I wouldn't get a chance to tell you a bit about Jack Stirling. You can still fuck this part off, but for everyone else Stirling is an absolute lad, formerly based in Perth but now plying his wares over in Melbourne where he's very quickly making himself heard - focusing full time on music. A multi-instrumentalist, he also plays drums with indie-electro duo Voltaire Twins, but it's his solo work that is a joy to behold. Honey is the second single from his upcoming release due around Halloween time, and it's something akin to Client Liaison and the Scissor Sisters throwing a sexy party that only you were invited to.
Take a listen below, and underneath that check some dates Stirling is embarking on with another WA-bred, now VIC-based artist, Anna O, later this year.
