Listen to Tourist's dreamy remix of Wolf Alice's Don't Delete The Kisses

The British electronic musician's first release of 2018 is a washed-out, five-minute epic.

After solidifying his position as one of electronic music's most adored with his expansive and house-tinged debut album U, Tourist isn't slowing down. Last year, he returned with friends in JONES, Ardyn, and others for Wash, a four-track EP which hinted at an exciting future for the celebrated British musician. There was also remixes for Christine & The Queens and Shura, which have now been joined by his first release of 2018 – a remix of Wolf Alice's dreamy smash Don't Delete The Kisses. While Charli XCX and Post Precious’ remix took the single into an electrifying dance-pop territory, Tourist keeps things the way he knows best – subtle and beautiful. Soaking the original's soft melodies in washed-out percussion, Tourist expands Don't Delete The Kisses into a five-minute slow-burner that highlights the precise moments of beauty in the original, plucking them out and amplifying them in a way that only an artist like Tourist can.

Believed to be the first of many remixes to expect from Tourist in 2018, his remix of Wolf Alice's Don't Delete The Kisses is a magical moment and one that'll no doubt hold us over until his next, highly awaited release. Check out the remix below, and revisit our interview with the British instrumentalist/producer HERE.
