Listen: SBTRKT - FLAREtWO, nO Less and Roulette

SBTRKT shares some wild new experimental material.

After warming everyone up with a number of international festival appearances - Coachella, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo and Australia's own Falls Festivals and Southbound, last week South London producer SBTRKT shared a new track, FLAREtWO - although didn't explain whether this was a previously unreleased cut from his Wonder Where We Land album sessions (featuring Raury, Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, Jessie Ware and more) or new material of a forthcoming SBTRKT release. Now we have two more tracks that SBTRKT uploaded overnight - nO Less and Roulette - to add to the 'is there a new album on the way or not?' conundrum. Which is one way to look at it. The other way is just - new SBTRKT is new SBTRKT, woohoo!

The tracks - all instrumentals - are more experimental than we're used to from SBTRKT, sitting on the darker, deeper side of the fence, with the artist adding simple descriptions of 'doom' 'gloom' and 'tomb' to the releases, respectively. nO Less is spacious, muted, shimmering tech-house, Roulette is super spiky and brusque, and FLAREtWO is our pick of the three - a fast-paced, scattish, tribal dance track peppered with strange intergalactic transmissions. Stream all three in full below.
