Listen: Porsches - Karate

Listen: Porsches - Karate

New Australian duo Porsches refine their sound for the second single, Karate.

There's no denying that Sydney two-piece Porsches are quickly becoming one of our favourite acts this year, with hit after hit featuring heavy on rotation since they appeared out of nowhere late last year. After collaborating with Kilter and releasing two stellar remixes already this year, the duo has finally released their second original of the year - a dreamy, electro-pop single that is Karate. It'll be hard to repeat a single like their strong debut Horses, but the boys have pulled it off, with the impeccably slick vocals of Carl Fox floating over a light instrumental, brimming with tropical-style synth and soft percussion. With a more refined, confident sound, the return of Porsches is a strong sign for the future of the duo, a future that boasts a support slot for Tkay Maidza and a quick couple of Halloween shows, among others.
